Papia Sengupta is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Political Studies, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi, India. She has a rich academic background with a PhD in Political Theory and Indian Politics from JNU. She also holds MA in Political Studies, M.Phil in Multiculturalism and Political Theory from JNU, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Federalism, Decentralisation and Conflict Resolution from the Institute of Federalism, University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
